Finished two screenplays for the month! So far, so good. So thankful for my sweet novelist friend Madeline Martin for giving me some tips to stay on track. My two scripts this month were “Getting Good” and “The Love Tree”. The first is a short I’ve had rolling around in my brain for a while. It’s nothing earth shattering, but it was something I thought about after I had my first child. I feel good about it, but not sure if it’s anything special. The Love Tree is a rom/com that I think is pretty good. It’s sort of about doing what’s expected from you friends and family, versus doing what’s right for you. I enjoyed writing it!
Now I press on with two new stories. One has been on my mind for a few years and one is brand new. I told my son about the new one and he thought it had a lot of potential. High praise for a 21 year old. Hoping I can hit my 1 month deadline, fingers crossed!
